Setting the IP Address on a Heidenhain CNC

Hardware Connection

Connect the network cable to the X26 port on the NC host.

IP Configuration

1. Press Edit or the right extension key .

2. Press MOD and enter the password NET123 in the prompt.

3. Press ENT to open IP configuration.

   

4. Press DEFINE NET at the bottom of the screen .

5. Select the interface option.

   

6. Move the cursor to eth0 X26 and click Configure.

   

7. Select manual IP address setup, enter the IP address and subnet mask, then click OK.

   

8. Click Activate.

   

9. Click APPLY to close the IP configuration screen.

   

10. Restart the NC.
