IoTBoX is a low-power IoT gateway. It can be used for information access in industries such as aerospace, industrial manufacturing, shipbuilding, engineering machinery, equipment assembly, energy monitoring, animal husbandry, and modern agriculture. Data can be connected to cloud platforms for deep analysis and utilization, connecting ERP, MES, OA and other systems. It can also perform predictive maintenance through data analysis of equipment, further realizing the level of enterprise industrialization, improving production capacity, and reducing costs. The device includes the following functions:

  • Data reading and writing of CNC/PLC/Robot/other non-standard equipment1
  • Program uploading and downloading of CNC/PLC equipment2
  • Camera remote forwarding
  • Data preprocessing through edge computing, etc.
  • Built-in VPN to connect industrial networks

IoTBoX supports mainstream industrial control standard protocols, supporting more than 80% CNC equipment, 90% PLC equipment, and mainstream robot equipment. It can also adapt to other non-standard equipment such as electronic instruments and sensors. Specifically including the following equipment3:

  • CNC: Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, KND, GSK, Heidenhain, Citizen, Brother, Syntec, Haas, Rexroth, Hurco, DMG, Mazak, etc.
  • PLC: Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Omron, Schneider, Delta, Keyence, Inovance, Panasonic, etc.
  • Robot: Kuka, Fanuc, Yaskawa, Estun, etc.
  • Other general protocols: Modbus, MT Connect, OPC UA, and other non-standard equipment

IoTBoX is developed using C++, Lua, Vue and other languages, supporting various CPU architectures such as ARM, X86, MIPS on Linux systems. It can be built on embedded hosts or on central servers to uniformly collect all networked equipment in the factory.
